| Hotspot Server Hardware and Software
Besides Hotspot hardware & software sylbek provide also access points, antenna and switches for
self-installation or regionally with optional local-installation.
Sylbek Hotspot servers are professional products developed for the world-wide deployment and optimised
for networks with 50-500 simultaneous connections.
Software is Linux based, with own users data base and powerfull bandwidth management.
The administration can be done by everyone, no Linux knowledge necessarily.

Traffic Shaper
Transparent Traffic Shaper with software & hardware in one, so that your IP telephone quality does not suffer,
even if you use the same infrastructure for other Internet services.
The Traffic Shaper is very scalable by the achievement.
For approx.. 1000 Internet users is our standard Internet Traffic Shaper sufficient with 30-60 mbps (TCP) throughput.
For gigabit LAN networks with several thousand simultaneous connections 19" systems are available.
Traffic Shaper can be deployed in each network segment, where ethernet data is to be treated with different priorities and ranges (bandwidth).
No other IP of devices must be reconfigured, since it works as transparent IP bridge.
In the diagram you can see, how 4 data groups can be treated.
That is however only one function of many like:
- Limit the maximum speed for some IP, subnet, MAC address and this transparently for users
- Bandwidth guarantee for some service, IP, subnet, MAC address
- Limit the number of TCP connections for some IP/subnet or to some IP/subnet
The application type of a Traffic Shaper are various. In particular eveywhere, where Internet is shared.

| Internet Terminals / Thin Clients
The performance of ThinClient is measurably smaller than with FatClients, however for Internet/Intranet applications sufficient,
or even apparently faster, in any case safer and more reliable.
We supply ThinClients directly to you with producers from Taiwan, whose performance and reliability is ensured in many embedded projects since 4 years now.
We set on standard solutions, that are also individually adaptable. Therefore we provide only ThinClients that:
- use standard memory, and are expandable
- boots from standard compact flash card or IDE Flash
- are compatible with Windows XP and Linux
- are fanless and absolutely noiseless
A ThinClient with the correct Windows XPe installation and Flash memory with fast access times,
offers often more performance and comfort than a FatClient.
